A very difficult empyema of gallbladder in a 60 years old man. Lap chole by opening the gallbladder first, emptying it of stones, and then fundus first dissection, and then ligating at the neck.

Does it develop internally or hair are consumed and they remain inside. Reason for asking is that how can it be so big.

hair are ingested regularly and overtime they form a hairball (tricho-hair; bezoar-all).
