Strawberry gall bladder and comet tail sign

A routine cholecystectomy was easily performed in a 55 years old lady. The ultrasound interestingly reported a ‘comet tail sign’ and cholelithiasis. After the operation the cut section of the gall bladder revealed a strawberry gall bladder.
